Our 60th Anniversary Closing Celebrations
PARISH PICNIC –Last chance to sign up: June 8th
The conclusion of our 60th Anniversary celebration will take place at the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday, June 22nd followed by a Parish Picnic in the Pavilion and courtyard.
Please sign up to attend the picnic in the Narthex after Mass this weekend (May 31/June 1). The last chance to sign up will be June 7/8, so that we have adequate time to give a final count to the caterers.
The picnic is open to all, free of charge! Please be sure to sign up for the picnic in the narthex after Mass. Please indicate the number of adults and children in your families who will be attending. There is also a sign-up sheet for volunteers who are very much needed to set up before and clean up after the luncheon.
The planning committee greatly appreciates your help!
St. Basil’s 60th Anniversary Committee is so pleased to announce a special guest to culminate our anniversary celebration. Mark Forrest, a renowned Irish tenor whose melodic voice has graced concert halls and cathedrals world wide, will sing at the masses on June 22nd. There will also be a special conclusion ceremony of prayers, meditation, and songs in our church at 3:00 pm, following our Parish Picnic. We hope that all parishioners attending the Picnic will stay for this very special event.
There is no charge for this ceremony but a good will offering will be appreciated.
